Well its been almost 1 month since our last blog post. And we promised that the blog would be updated monthly. So here we are again.
The last month has been very busy with photoshoots. Which is a good thing as it had been a bit on the quiet side since the New Year. But aside from taking photos. We have also been busy conducting weekly lessons in Manual Photography.
We decided back in January to advertise and run some basic introduction to manual photography classes. And we were amazed by the interest that we had in the advertised lessons. These classes simply came about from the amount of people that we speak to daily that always say to us. "Oh I wish I knew how to take photos with my DSLR in manual mode". But it looks way to complicated. So we thought to ourselves. Why don't we give this a go, lets run some classes, and pass on some of our years of photography knowledge and experience to others in our local community.
Over the last 6 weeks, we have seen the people attending our weekly classes, nervously but slowly grasp the basics of manual photography. Each week building in confidence while getting to know their camera. To reach the point where they now have an understanding of how and what is involved to take photos with their cameras shooting in full manual mode. Their final test is coming up this Saturday night with an organised night shoot at Kangaroo Point. This will be a true test of their newly learnt manual photography skills. But from what we have seen of their steady progression over the last 6 weeks. We are confident that they will end up capturing some stunning night photos of the Brisbane city skyline. (Weather permitting)
The lessons have been such a success, that we will be running another round of Introduction to Manual Photography classes in the coming weeks ahead. These will be advertised on the Special Offers page of our website, and also on our Facebook page. In addition, there is also the possibility of us running some basic Photoshop Photo Editing classes.
If you are interested in attending the upcoming classes. Just go to our contact page on our website and drop us a line. Or follow us on Facebook and leave us a message with your interest. We would love for you to join us, and let us pass on some of our knowledge to you also.
